(Online) Painting lesson
NEW ! Learn to paint a pastoral landscape in watercolor on Wednesday evening 9 March and/or on Saturday afternoon 12 March - Online.
We use a realistic photo to paint in wet-in-wet and wet-on-dry technique. In this ONLINE session you learn to express the feeling of mist and hazy atmosphere to get a pastoral landscape. I will guide you all along to get the best result during the session.
You need: watercolor paint, palette, paper, pencil/eraser, 3 brushes (one very fine brush), water jars, paper towel.
The same session is also on Saturday afternoon 12 March from 14:00-17:00 o’clock if you prefer that or do both times.
I/we can speak Dutch and English, so you can combine practicing your Dutch while making art 🇳🇱 + 🎨 = 😍

All sessions are onlIne. Most subjects you can choose to do realistic or abstract, in watercolor, acrylic or oil paint. I will guide you in your painting during the session to get the best result. Every week the subject changes to keep you inspired and challenged. Dutch and English spoken.
March 16: Wednesday evening. Once more you learn how to paint an abstract landscape in the colorful way of TON SCHULTEN. We use a different photo of a landscape and transform it into an abstract (watercolor or acrylic) - online.
March 19: Saturday afternoon. Once more you learn how to paint an abstract landscape in the colorful way of TON SCHULTEN. We use a different photo of a landscape and transform it into an abstract (watercolor or acrylic) - online.
March 23: Wednesday evening. Learn how to paint a path and fence among trees in PERSPECTIVE. We use a photo. Technique watercolor wet in wet and wet on dry - online.
March 26: Saturday morning. Learn how to paint a path and fence among trees in PERSPECTIVE. We use a photo. Technique watercolor wet in wet and wet on dry - online.
Mornings are from 10:00-13:00 o'clock | Afternoons are from 14:00-17:00 o'clock | Evenings are from 19:00-22:00 o’clock.

Paint your Way in general
On Saturday mornings you can join my painting lessons. Our main aim is to find your own way in painting. It’s about creativity and fun.
Mostly you will be painting or you will be creating an art work with other materials. Sometimes I will share my love of art history with you. Another time it will be about one contemporary artist. Just to keep you inspired we visit a museum. I will be your guide and I’ll tell something about the place works have in the history of time. Get inspired by a work from a well-known artist and paint it following your own idea.
In the lessons I will help you form your ideas and in choosing which material to use and the technical aspects of painting. The course is for beginners as well as for more experienced people. At the end of each lesson we will discuss the work.
Take your brushes and paint with you, if you have them. If not, I can supply you. If you prefer canvas please bring your own. I have paper.

Price : 10 lessons card costs € 160. Price is incl. consumptions, excl. museum entrance.
